You're Still Viewing Old Projects... but they are worth taking notes on- haha!

So- I love this chest of drawers!  It is an Ethan Allen Piece that I purchased for $10.00, lugged it home and started layerin' the charm on!

Below, another project begins.

This chair started out brown and was white for a few years until I wanted a change.

Added the distressed look and it is so much better.

Small all oak desk that I bought for $1.00 at a yard sale!

Love painting inside of drawers a different color from the outside.

This is such a "squirrel" moment... but- a helpful hint!  If you carry all sorts of paraphernalia in your purse- you can fix anything!- hahhaha~

See???

School Desk gone Alien Green

A couple of months ago I purchased this old school desk at a church sale.  I did not like the formica top nor the royal blue of the desk.  I bought it and lugged it home and here is what happened.  I srtipped off the top, painted the desk  an alien green, replaced the top with plexy glass applied with rivets.

Industrial Coffee Table

So.  My first decorating entry opens with this industrial coffee table that i created.  I found t 1930s Feed Dolley at a antique store and added this old window I had to the top of the dolley to function as a table top.
Hello everybody!  This blog will mainly contain decorating ideas incorporated with a few of my creations.  I was able to stay current with my travel blog, so we'll see how this one goes.  I'm going to begin this blog with my front porch.  Most of my decorating revelations evolve while I'm on this porch perched upon that 1950's metal glider.  While I am inspired by culture, nature and decorating literature, the best resource for any ideas come from time.  So, in between my busy, catch all life, I try to make time to relax on my porch.  Come along with me and meet me on my porch and we can ponder decorating ideas together.
